Car rental

Next to flight tickets, auto rental is also a part of the wide selection on the Gate1.ie website. Offering a rental car is made possible through collaboration with the auto rental company CarTrawler.com.

If you would like to rent a car via Gate1.ie, you can find this by clicking on the Auto Rental tab on the main page. You will then be forwarded to the special page where you can enter the desired search. You can thus choose the desired destination, dates and times. You can also enter your preferences, with the help of the extensive search options, for the rental company, the class of the rental car and extra options such as: auto type, number of seats, air conditioning and so forth.

An overview will then be shown of different rental cars that match your search. After choosing the rental car, a comprehensive overview of the chosen product will be shown, and any extra products from the rental company can also be booked, such as insurances, a child’s seat, navigation and so forth. The personal details can then be entered, the payment method chosen and a final booking can be made. We bring to your attention that an auto can only be picked up if you have a credit card. This card must be in the name of the driver of the rental car.

After making an auto rental booking, you will receive a confirmation of the request for the rental car in your e-mail. After two workdays, you will also receive the auto rental vouchers, with which the rental car can be picked up at the airport.

The GreenLabel gives you the option to choose for the environmentally friendliest flight.
